Each One, Teach One, Reach One

Parent Empowerment Network (PEN) is a non-profit, 501 C 3 organization dedicated to ensuring all students with disabilities have an equal opportunity to live meaningful, fulfilling and productive lives. We work to ensure that they receive free appropriate public education according to the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). We seek to protect, improve and build bridges to create a more productive working relationship between the parent and the educator, such as, promote opportunities and better living for student to adult self-sufficiency.

About Us

Parent Empowerment Network exists to build bridges between the Parent and the Educators.  This includes Administrators.  The success of the student is our primary focus.  Working through our differences with that goal in mind expels the inability to come to a negotiable ground.

We offer a complimentary  30 minute service to counsel parents on the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and their student's accommodations and goals this initial consultation, We train in advocacy and  follow up with the family.  We attend IEP team meetings when necessary.

We network with various organizations to assist you in finding what you need -- Medical, speech, behavior specialist, employment needs for the student
